2017 4th of July Celebrations Near Des Plaines!

Looking for something fun to do with the whole family this 4th of July in Des Plaines? As proud members of the Des Plaines community, we pride ourselves on keeping up with all the latest community events. That’s why we thought we’d share some information on what’s going on in the area this Independence Day!

Des Plaines Independence Day Parade

The parade begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 4 2017, at the intersection of Center St. and Wicke Ave. It will travel north to Prairie Ave., where it will come to an end at Prairie Ave. and Pearson St. This year’s theme is “Our Heritage, Our Future…”

4th of July Fireworks Near Des Plaines

Arlington Park July 4th Fireworks

• Date: Monday July 3,2017 at Dusk
• Location: Arlington Park Race Track
• What is there to do? Enjoy the races and listen to great music

Mount Prospect Lions Club Festival

• Date: June 30th & July 4th at Dusk
• Location: Melas Park in Mount Prospect
• What is there to do? A carnival with rides, food, a beer garden, and entertainment

Rosemont Rockin’ In the Park Concert & Fireworks

• Date: July 4th
• Location: MB Financial Park in Rosemont
• What is there to do? Enjoy music from Heartache Tonight, an Eagles tribute band

Park Ridge Fireworks

• Date: Monday, July 3 at Dusk
• Location: Maine East High School in Park Ridge
• What is there to do? Live music and entertainment for the kids (6:30 pm – 8:00 pm)
