Scharm Floor Covering is looking for an energetic Sales & Showroom Associate to join our team at our Des Plaines, IL showroom. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a sales-driven environment while delivering the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for home design. Prior experience in flooring sales is not required—we provide training!

Job Responsibilities:

✔ Greet and assist showroom guests, helping them select carpeting, hardwood, tile, and other flooring solutions.
✔ Provide exceptional sales support, including scheduling measurements, generating proposals, and processing orders.
✔ Maintain ongoing communication with customers in person, over the phone, and via email, ensuring a seamless experience.
✔ Keep showroom samples updated and maintain a clean, organized, and professional display environment.
✔ Collaborate with vendor representatives to stay informed about the latest products and pricing.
✔ Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks (experience with these programs is a plus).
