Scharm Floor Covering is Sponsoring Friday Nights Live!

We’re excited to announce that Scharm Floor Covering will be sponsoring the last ‘Friday Nights Live’ event of the summer on Friday, August 25th in Des Plaines, IL! Friday Nights Live is a 10 week entertainment series that is held every Friday of the summer in Metropolitan Square. It began on June 23rd and ends August 25th. Each Friday’s entertainment line-up is different and ranges from live jazz performances to comedy sketches to cooking demonstrations.

Each Friday Night Live runs from 6:00PM to 9:30PM, and the last event, on August 25th, will feature 1950’s and 1960’s-style music. Boogie down and get a taste of rock & roll, surf, and oldies hits. Rosie and the Rivets will be playing, along with several professional girl band entertainers.

Grab a bite to eat at Pot Belly’s, Giordano’s, Tap House Grill, Panera Bread, or Forever Yogurt before the show. For those who don’t wish to to eat out, we encourage people to pack up their own picnic to enjoy while they listen to the entertainment! The venue will accommodate tables, umbrellas, and chairs.

Friday Nights Live is intended to draw in local residents, bring the community together, and promote local businesses. We’re honored to once again be involved in this great community event series. 

Friday Nights Live has fun for the whole family and is kid-friendly, with entertainment such as storytelling, craft projects, and children’s pop-up art exhibits. Scharm Floor Covering donates carpet squares every year for the children to run around and play on. They also act as comfortable ‘seats’ for the children to sit on and enjoy the show. Kids love when we bring our carpet squares, and we love sharing a piece of our family-owned business with the local members of our community!
